My favorite Subject

Hi everyone today I’m going to talk about my favorite subject this semester. I have no doubt that it is social geography. Last semester I have the first subject of social geography with  the Professor Yasna Contreras. It was an amazing experience because we learned so much about the new ways and rithms of the city. We studied some authors of critic geography that showed us the causes of the new growth of the city and capital. Like David Harvey for example but the most amazing experience was knowed was meet other paradigms of the geography. That subject called “Cultural geography” continued this semester with other name and other professor. Now, the subject is “social geography” and my professor is Michael lukas.  This subject is showing us the new urban growth with a new example: The new houses and urban projects in Piedra Roja, Chicureo.  This is very interesting because Chicureo is a place in Colina, the place were I live. This investigation is very interesting for my professional future because is showing me the effects of a new urban structure in Colina and the consequences  for the rutine of all people.  I have social geography every Tuesday at 15.00 PM.  But last week we had our first travel to Piedra Roja Chicureo and we saw the new closed projects that are that are they selling. Those houses are so expensive and are made for rich people. After that we went to a place near of my house to observe the social houses and the new people that is living there. We learned so much about the new urban growth and I hope dedicate to social geography when I become a professional.
I hope You liked my entry! See you next week!

My hobby

I everyone! Today I'm going to talk about a hobby.
This is my favourite theme because I'm an obsesive person and I like to collection things or do activities  repeatedly. In the last time, I am doing so much things every day.
I have a study group in wich we read critic geography to urban studies and to problematize the urban growth and to understand enviromental conflicts. I also like to collection different kinds of toys mainly of famous movies like star wars, monsters Inc,guardians of the galaxy, etc. But my favourite hobby is watch every kind of movies and series on netflix. I can watch all day long the premieres. This hobby started when I was a child and we have no tv cable or internet to watch online movies and my dad take me to the movie store and we lend some movies there. We do that every Friday and it was so much fun because the store was giant and there was a candy machine where I bought some candys for me and my brother.
After that we came back to our house and we watched the movie that always  was choosed by me. This hobby  was so much fun because we shared so much time together and I remember those moments until today and I still doing those things with my little sister.

I hope you liked my story

My favorite Chilean

Hi everyone! The topic  of this week is write about my favorite chilean, but I don't wan't to choose one because I admire too many women in Chile, and today I'm going to write about them.
Firstly I want to say that every women in Chile is very important to me and our history like women and feminists.
In the  first place, I want to name  every women who raised a family in this dificult society where we are criminalized for abortion, being a single mom, or choose to have a child in poverty and being teen mom. This is my homage  to them!
Elena Caffarena   was an activist in feminism particulary  on suffragist wave  and chilean sindicalism. she studied at law school in the University of Chile and is one of my role models.

In second place is my grandma, because she raised me without knowing how to read or write and she forced me to study at school and to be  an independent woman.

In third place are all the other women, and transgender women who marked my life like Pedro Lemebel with her poetry and Gabriela Mistral being the first chilean lesbian to win a nobel price. This is my thank you note for all the Chilean feminists that fight for our right to live without violence and patriarchy.
Greats!

My birthday party was so fun! Althoug I don’t now how to swim I made the effort not to drown and we played pool volleyball. I loved it but I finished very tired and the next day I felt very tired. We also played twister but I fell down and I lost the game and everyone made fun of me. After that we danced all kind of music since rock and roll to Disney songs. We also sang some karaoke songs and the person who lost had to submerge back into the pool. Luckily I knew mi song and I didn’t lost the game. Whatever, I remember that day because It brings to me so much good memories and I hope to repeat those days again with my old friends.

My last weekend

Hi everyone, today I'm going to talk about my last weekend. Firstly, I have to say that I didn't do anything interesting but honestly I just wanted  to have some rest and enjoy a few days with my family.
The last Sunday I went with my friends to a restaurant and we ate a delicious sandwich and drank a couple of micro-brewery beers. After that, I went to visit to my grandma and we had  dinner together. I fell asleep very early.  The next morning  I played with my little sister, I helped  my mom in the kitchen and we lunched together. After that, I went to read something and watch some movies. On monday night I went to ask for candys for Halloween's night and my little sister was dressed like a cowgirl. She looked very nice and  I enjoyed so much to eat her candys. After that I couldn't go to my halloween party because it became too late to go out, but I turned on the tv and watched some horror movies. It was really nice to  take that time to rest.  Finally, my last break was the last Tuesday when I ate, and slept all day long. In the night, I remembered that I had to  deliver a report of economy classes using REDATAM sofware. It wasn't difficult, but I'm very lazy and I finished it quickly to keep sleeping.
That was my last weekend. It wasn't very funny but I enjoyed it so much to have so many days to get some rest and forget my obligations . I hope you enjoyed reading this.
See you next time!

HOLIDAY

Hi everybody, today I'm going to talk about my holidays.
This year, I proposed to  start a big trip to Northen Chile.
My trip for January's holidays will start in Arica's airport. After I land there I will go to Arequipa a city in the South of Peru.  Then I have  planned to go to Machu pichu and meet some other historical places there  like museums, markets and architectural heritage because all people say that Peru has  the biggest heritage culture. Despite being such  a poor country, Peru has a great love for all it's people, and we can see that in citizens participation in the constitutional project , where the economic growth is directed to all  the population  and not only to rich people and people who have the means of production. That means that social politics are directed to  fight against poverty, hunger, violence, and made a social distribution of richness. After Peru, I have planned  to travel to Bolivia  for  Oruro's carnival days. I want to know the amazonic jungle, where animals live free and nature is protected by Bolivia's goverment.
I hope to concrete my plans and to have a amazing holidays.
See you on the next entrance! :)
